As the director of Adams County Empowerment Center, I am honored to welcome you to a platform built on the belief in the transformative power of storytelling and healing. I started EmpowermentEchoes with a simple yet profound intention: to create a safe and supportive space where survivors of sexual and gender-based violence can share their stories, find solidarity, and embark on their journey toward healing.

My own experiences with sexual violence have taught me firsthand the profound impact that speaking one's truth can have on both personal healing and collective empowerment. It was through sharing my story and connecting with others that I found strength, resilience, and a sense of community. It is this belief in the power of storytelling as a catalyst for change that drives the mission of EmpowermentEchoes.

I believe that sharing our stories has the power to transform not only individual lives but also entire communities. By breaking the silence surrounding sexual violence and amplifying the voices of survivors, we challenge stigma, shame, and misconceptions.
